HTL has several locations for natural light photography. Learn a variety of techniques and improve your outdoor photography. HTL has Americana themes and unique locations.
Large Studios
Studio Lighting
HTL Studios will have over 15 sets during the workshop for you to explore and learn different studio lighting techniques. Learn with variety of light modifiers and multiple light sets.

Individual Instruction
Our instructors care about your individual needs and cater to your skill set. No reason for a beginner to feel intimidated. Advanced photographers will not be handicapped.

INFORMATION
This Illinois Photography Workshop features several Fashion, Beauty, and Glamour models for an excellent hands-on photography workshop experience.
Our instructors have a desire to teach you what you want to know. We will answer all of your questions.Get an edge on your competition and learn techniques that will make you a better photographer.
We organize your scheduled sessions so you can work with all the models at various locations. Designed by a photographer that understands the passion you have for photography.
Blue Creek Lodge Resort provides a private facility to accommodate the group. Location provides a climate controlled Pool. In addition to the main property, we have an array of wonderful locations. Old barns, wheat fields, country roads, waterfalls that are along the river bluffs of Pike County, IL. All the scenes are majestic or rustic in nature.
If you are flying, St. Louis Lambert airport is recommended. You can rent a car or ask for shuttle information. HTL is 2 hours to the lodge. Drive time from Chicago, Indianapolis and Kansas City is 4 hours.
MODELS
SEVERAL Models will represent HTL XXVI FOR YOUR HTL SESSIONS.
Professional hair and makeup artistry are provided for all models.

Registration provides a lodging for 3-nights, the full event, lunch and dinner for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
St. Louis Lambert airport is the recommended airport. Pittsfield, IL is 2 hours from St. Louis Lambert Airport and 4 hours south of Chicago international airports. 4 hours from Kansas City and Indianapolis. We provide a free Shuttle service from St. Louis Lambert Airport if participants do not rent a vehicle.
Individual instruction is available at any time. During your creative sessions, mentors are on hand to assist you and answer your questions. Please ask them to help you if you want them or feel free to create 1 on 1 with each model. You will have plenty of time with each model to create unique images during the daily sessions at various locations, including a day in the HTL climate controlled studio. The studio has several lighting sets.

HTL has several mentors and experienced instructors that will help you learn what you want to learn. You will learn proven and creative lighting techniques in the studio and outdoors. You will learn to be a better director. You will learn to take better control of your portrait, fashion, beauty and glamour sessions to deliver better image quality. You will be involved with inspiring photography seminars and hands-on workshops that will cater to proven and creative techniques.
